Wound care after a torn tooth

Hello, I was ripped off at the top six on Tuesday. The pain didn't stop, so I went to the emergency room this morning. There, my wound was cleaned ... But I'm terribly afraid to eat and drink so as not to disturb the blood clot. Is there any way to prevent water or food from entering the wound? I'm also afraid to drink and swallow so that I don't mess something up. Please help. Thank you very much.

It corresponds  Dr. WITH.  Syergyeyev:

The ingress of food or drink into the extraction wound cannot be avoided. It is much more important not to rinse your mouth with anything for the first two days, to treat the toothbrush carefully around the wound and not to vacuum anything from the wound.
